Photographically, it doesn't show up. Live view wise? it's on my LCD and shows up on video. If i place the video on my PC and watch, it's in the same spot. I'd figure i'd just go exchange it at best buy again (first one had LCD issues and live view was VERY noisy). All of within a week..

They don't have one in stock so i'd have to wait for them to order one in :/ and have it ready for me thursday. Let's hope 3RD times the charm..

OR should i jsut say to hell with best buy and send it to canon? the new body is barely a day old.

you sure it's not a dust on the sensor? i freaked out and sent my camera in because there was a "deadpixel" whenever i recorded movies. but it just turned out to be dust..

I'm still trying to get used to the FF. I didn't think it would feel so different compared to a crop. LOL I used to step back a lot before. That's not the case anymore. I think I need to improve my PP skills to bring the best out of this cam.

Quick question. I shot these pictures using Small RAW since I only had 4 gb card (9.9 mp). Does that affect a lot in terms of resolution even when just viewing in a computer screen? I seem to think that my images does not contain a lot of details as I expected.

Got to shoot Ultimate Disc try outs here in Connecticut for The Connecticut Constitution team. I normally shoot in RAW but shot these JPEG, ISO 1600, in-Camera noise reduction set to standard. Can't believe how good ISO 1600 is on the 5d Mk II, I hardly shoot low light so this was one of the first times I really gave it a shot (no pun). I typically shoot lifestyle portraiture work so everything was shot with the 35L and 135L lens.

I don't think it was dust. It was one white dot. and then if i zoom in there are a couple of other dots there were red and in different locations. It also shows up in the same location in video mode. I exchanged it again and have another one coming in thursday.

Nice job!

For future reference...

Although I don't necessarily object to some perspective distortion, I wonder whether for a commercial job you 'd be better off correcting it. Especially seeing how carefully you took care of your verticals in all your other shots.

I gave it a try and although it can be done, you would loose the corners of the gables. You'd have to be aware of it beforehand and make allowances for the correction.
