I'm moving out of Canon, so mine is for sale (see the sell forum). The ONLY reason I'm selling it is because I'm moving out of Canon. It's a keeper lens otherwise.

Haaa! I just bought this from ya! Thanks! :)

If I'm not mistaken, WT21 bought that lens from me. Glad to see it making the rounds. It's an amazing little lens.

I'm very happy with the lens!

EDIT: Due to a huge SNAFU with USPS, I ended up getting my lens from another seller instead of WT21.

I am wondering about Canon's "Peripheral Illumination Correction" for this lens (70-210 f/3.5-4.5) on the T1i & 60D. Neither of these bodies will load PIC through the EOS utility. PIC is available for its sister lens, the 28-105 f/3.5-4.5. Why isn't it available for the 70-210 f/3.5-4.5? Some much older lenses are listed. This lens could really use it from 3.5 to about 5.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that as the lens stopped production to be replaced by the 70-200L in 1996 it is a little old to have included in Canons DPP where as the 28-105 f3.5 is or was still in production until recently

Thanks for the reply Steveod. That DOES make sense. I am just in the habit of leaving PIC turned on with all my lenses. I can make corrections in LR3, if the need arises.

Taken on my 30D in AI Servo mode with the 70-210mm while my daughter was pedaling past me at a pretty good clip....probably a little "hot".......or blown out in spots. The ring-USM focusing on this lens has always impressed me...

Two photos taken at the New Zealand Festival of Speed 2012 held at the Hampton Downs circuit in the North Island.
love this lens it is sharp and the auto focus even on my old 1D classic is real fast, coupled with a 24-70L it covers most situations
And yes thats me the wonabe Ford GT40 driver.
