Mainly fish for Barramundi and other tropical species in Northern Australia.

Thankyou, it has been. Quite chuffed with that one, plenty of time spent to photograph it,... besides all the missed shots over many trips leanring to get it right. It was also recently been licensed for a couple of other purposes including use on shirts by a national chain of tackle stores. Here's a jpg they sent through for my records after they laid it up.

Congrats Art. That's quite an accomplishment.

Mickinley, I'll bet that's a Minnesota eye. :) As soon as I saw the photo I quickly scrolled up to see where you were from. Beautiful fish. It must have come from a northern MN lake.

Good ole' Mille Lacs.

It was the only one we caught though. 21" long. The rest were perch.

Have to brag a bit! After searching for this guy for 9 years, I finally landed me a pretty nice Lingcod off the coast of Alaska. Since we are moving this spring, I knew my time was limited!! This was the best fishing trip since I moved here. Reeling in Halibut, Blackcod, Yelloweye, and this guy. Great day!!!

That's a Palm Valley red. He's quite the fisherman!

Great shot of the fish. And wow, a Hewes Tailfisher in Australia, that boat definitely took a journey to get there.

Getting photos of a fish jumping would be difficult, but doing it by yourself is trying to do the impossible. Trying to fight a fish in one hand, while trying to get focus on a moving target, checking settings and all the while trying not to drop the camera in the water, deserves appreciation even if the photo isn't perfect. Most people don't understand unless they try it themselves. Just saying.
