This car belongs to a buddy of mine. It's his daily-driver, and the swap is completely California-legal. It's an LS1 bottom-end with LS6 internals, LS6 heads, and intake manifold. It also has custom long-tube headers and a tune. It made ~350whp on 91 octane, and weighs approx. 2,800lbs. It's a VERY fun car, indeed. Here are some photos:

3.) The wheels are Rota P45R, 18x9.5 +20 all around.

5.) The transmission is a T-56, out of a Camaro

6.) This is a full-interior car, as it is daily-driven

Yes, it is very sleeperish. The only thing that gives it away is the V8 rumble, which is pretty noticeable, even though the car has cats on it. He went out of his way not to add all the typical JDM parts that everyone puts on these cars. It's a straight-up 240sx, all the way.

Glad you showed the interior. It looks almost stock. Gives it the sleeper look

That is one sick car, how big was the shoe horn they used to get that engine in? Good looking pics. Your buddy did a great job as well.

Good set on a sleeper, & you have some nice highlights in them.

He has to be the only person in the world that actually uses the hand brake to park? :D

The engine fits in there without any modifications whatsoever to the engine bay. There are several companies who sell mount kits. No shoehorns necessary. ;)

Pretty close. It's off Kearny Villa Rd. right near where it intersects with the 163.
