Just a few snap shots.....subjects were not cooperative...very skittish, and not very approachable even with a 150 + 1.4x (210mm). The low low perch and the wind didn't help either, plus, my 200MYR (65 USD) tripod can't go very low.

All from the same urban park, in one morning.

Snap shots, perhaps, but great-looking snaps nonetheless. I particularly like number 2.

By the way, I thought I would mention that I appreciate you taking the time to add your watermarks carefully. Some people just slap some huge, opaque watermark in some critical part of the shot, ruining everyone's ability to appreciate it. In your case, the watermarks are tasteful and unobtrusive enough to be virtually invisible to the viewer while still providing copyright security against the thief. Keep it up :)

Some pretty amazing 'snapshots' Kurt lol. I really like the colouring on all of these shots - what is it that you do to get this lovely pastel type of colour?

Thanks for looking and commenting, Rob, Linda, Toby, Martin, Ryan.

Rob - yes, we get lots of different macro subjects here all year long :). More exotic ones if we go into the forest!

Ryan - thanks. Still debating whether I want to keep on watermarking my Flickr images. It's all done using Photoshop Action....i just toggle the dialogs so i can move/rotate it, and adjust the opacity accordingly :). Really very minimal pain at all.

Linda - I shoot in raw and do 95% of my processing in Adobe Camera Raw. I prefer more neutral or even slightly cool white balance...and not overly saturated colors nor too much contrast. These were pretty much what I saw in the viewfinder, or how I remember them :)

Thanks for that Kurt - I tend to like your preference as well so must have a play in processing (although I wont get the type of results that you do lol)

Very smooth and creamy colors. The last two are my favorites. Natural light really does it best. :)

Nice shooting and great results Kurt. I never think to go NL when shooting macro ... might give it a go next time I'm out.
