I know! It's rare that he holds still longer than a second so I was surprised I got anything in focus in all honesty. He kept going back and forth and every time we'd go to take the picture he'd start to run away again. Oh the joys of toddlers!

I think it looks better softer. A sharper eye would ruin the mood for me.

I would bet anything that he isn't "focused" on any one thing anyway :) toddlers rarely are for any length of time.

Composition fits the mood.
