Oooh and creepy news of the day, I just found out that this building that we use for the Senior Center used to be a funeral parlor.

When we lived in Los Gatos, one of the popular restaurants was The Chart House. It was situated in an old Victorian house that used to be a funeral parlor. The most requested table was the one in the bay window where they used to display the corpses in their caskets. That was a little odd I thought, too.

Have they scheduled the move-ins for Employment Center, Day Care, and birthing classes yet? :{)#

Oh....I almost forgot to mention. It's supposed to be haunted.

You betcha'!!

This was shot on my iPhone on our most recent trip to Las Vegas last week. That sandwich actually fed three of us.

There was a market and deli called the Mediterranean Market in Carmel when I was in high school. I loved the place and it was a favorite stop every time I went back. when I went up for my 45-year reunion in 2010, I was all set to stop in again, but alas, there's a furniture store there now... :(

Chief, the video that you linked to is one of Eldad's videos. He has a chanel on YouTube that I am subscribed to, and I try to watch all his new videos as they come in. I hadn't seen that one yet though.
All his videos make me cry. I love his tenderness with the animals, and they respond almost immediately to his love.

He sure is. With a personality to match. We love this guy. He and Phantom are best buds. (And Vader is happy that they leave him alone, lol)

A couple more photos. :)

. . . oh, and we've still got 3 Hamburger Hamlets in the area; nearest is maybe 3 miles away (GE says 3.6 mi., but they're going the long way 'round). Can't say I've been to one in close to 30 years, though if the PermaPuddles care to visit, we can make the trek . . .

BIRDERS with IPADS or EREADERS probably SMART PHONES too...I bought the Audubon Bird app last night for my Nook, I'm very impressed. Audubon has other apps too for Wildflowers and Insects, probably more but that is all I remember.

I was going to buy that. I was a little put off at the price, not knowing if it was good or not. So many fake reviews out there.

3 days late, but I'm subscribing and adding some art to the walls. And to throw you all off... I'm posting my CATS instead of dogs, hahaha.

Soren and Phantom

*sings along*

 And he did it without singing Disney tunes.
)

All your cats are beautiful. I absolutely am in love with Phantom though.

and...Disney tunes are so catchy. Just think, people will be singing my coffee slogan every morning with their cup of cheer :D

someday you'll have to try my coffee :) If you don't like it, that will be okay, but at least you'll have tried fresh coffee and know what you are missing. lol We don't have any good pastrami places local though.

I've seen and smelled pastrami a lot, it is completely unappetizing to me but I know TONS of folks who adore it so I am sure it is tasty.

they are testing the firs alarms...lovely.
