For reasons listed in the last couple pages of this thread. As of last week Canon still did not have a production body, don't follow Nikon much these days so don't know the progress of the D4.

I'm using the 3960 Extreme chip at 4.8 Ghz, 32 gigs of ram and OCZ SSD. Switched over to Bibble Pro (Now Corel) and it generates previews at a rate of 11 per second. Lightroom and Phase one were complete dogs at 1 to 3 frames per second, generating previews.
