Ok I know it's not one of ours .... but...
why would anyone pay almost double for used?? Checked nothing special or extra with used 'un !!

I have seen used items listed used on Amazon for hundreds (sometimes thousands) of dollars more than the new price - why a seller would do that is anyone's guess.

I think some of those times on Amazon the sellers are waiting for the item to go out of stock or be discontinued and hope to get the desperate person who is willing to pay a fortune to get just what they want.

I bought my Sigma 10-20 new after watching used ones on ebay go for £30 less than new. They were usually a few years old too.
