Here is one of a juvenile Goliath Grouper. It was more of a "what are you doing?"moment.]

I've been thinking about this photo all day and I'm still laughing.

That dive was so much fun with that fish he followed me for 30 minutes and at one point he just rested his jaw on top of my camera rig and stared at me.

Caught a glimpse of this Barn Owl at about 11pm down in the Everglades. It's amazing how many owls are watching the roads if you take the time to look up.. something we've just recently started doing a lot more of.

That's a great barn owl pic Mike. How did you light it up so well? Did it spook?

Viper,

To get him lit up and somewhat in focus, we used a flashlight to light him up and manually focus on him. The light causes them to turn away. After they're in focus we turn the light off, wait about 5 seconds, and take the shot with my external flash. The shot is actually taken in the pitch dark with no lights on of any sort. You don't really know where or if they're looking till the flash flashes.

This was taken with my previous Olympus gear. 300mm Zoom at about 200mm (cropped) with FL-36 (the lower output of the two main Olympus flashes).

This one didn't spook but we didn't get too close to him for too long. If you can get the car stopped without them taking off then they tend to stay put for a while... if they're going to fly off they tend to do it as soon as the car comes to a stop.

Mike

OMG, those tiger shots are amazing! What a thrill that must have been! The cub is too cute, but the light on the 1st one is gorgeous!
