So im looking for a good monopod, but not sure what one to get...

what are some of your guys favorites?

I have a manfrotto with a manfrotto ball head, can't remember which model right now...

Manfrotto 679B. Gitzo and RRS make very good products......but not if you're on a budget.

I use the 680B with a 494RC2. Excellent combo. Use it a bunch when doing sports and such.

That's what I use. The GM5561T. It collapses to 16" which is important to me. All the other decent ones are 21" collapsed.

Look at the Feisols if you want to save some money, but they're still 21" collapsed.

I agree with Ben_r_ and tvphotog.
Gitzo 5561 with RRS MH-01. Great setup if you use on a regular basis and want consistent performance.
