Here are a couple pictures taken with a Canon xti w/ 24-70mm. Is there an easy way to make the pictures not so "Orangey" right off the camera? I was shooting at 200 ISO F22 ~30 second exposure

Sodium vapor lights are extremely orange...there probably isn't a preset white balance setting on your camera that offers enough correction for it, so your only in-camera option is to make use of a gray card (or even a sheet of white paper) to generate your own custom white balance. This is easy.

Alright thank you, I'm waiting to get a new camera soon, 5d mkiii preferably. I'm sure 30 second exposures would come out different on a 5d compared to an xti?

I took a few night shots recently and I had the same effect ( orange ) so I changed the white balance on my 7D to tungsten and got a much more realistic effect.
