You are all making me "home"sick. I went to Austin this past week and didn't like the vibe at all, was there less than an hour with no usable shots. Maybe it was the specific area or the time of day, who knows, but it was nothing like the feeling of Seattle or Portland.

Well, gosh Marlene, sorry it didn't "perk" with you! I was talking with a friend last night who says he really likes Austin, but he wasn't talking about photography -- he rides a Harley and meets with bikers there!
