Always nice to see what a difference 24 hours can make around here.

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

Like the first one.

I'm not too fond of the edit on the second one, or at least how the clouds were processed. Maybe too HDR or something. Overall it's a good shot.

Nice lightning shot. I've only tried lightning once or twice and wasn't very successful so I'm always impressed when I see others who have succeeded. Great job!

Love the captures, really nailed the lightning. I know why your name is on the photos but it really is somewhat distracting to the image.

Thanks for the feedback.

- HD Filter...didn't really use one but was tinkering more with contrast on the sunset shot trying to bring up the foreground that was darker and overexposed. Always the challenge with sunset pictures.

- logo/watermark...I know...always a no win deal with those.

-the lightning shots are actually getting a tad 'easier' to nab after lots of futile practice. I'm finding the biggest challenge is getting a quick moving front at night where the rain bands are limited and not way out in front of the approaching storm. I used a wireless remote to trigger the camera which I have set on a tripod. SS- Bulb; ISO 100-200 and anywhere from 4.0-8.0 on aperture.
