A lovely crisp set Levina, Winter has finally arrived here too.
Thanks very much, Joe. Yes, I think we're having the same cold wave. And it's here to stay for another week. Or so the forecast is.

Spot-on focus on all of them, Levina; well done.
Thank you very much, Al.

These are great Levina. I love #3 and I bet that would make a nice print.
Thanks so much, Mike! I like that one too. I think he looks so vulnerable in all that white.

Those are very nice, #1 especially. Snow/ice on the feet says it all.
Ha, you saw the snowy feet too! I just love those. Thanks very much, Ed.

Well done-seems funny to see these birds w/ snow & ice in the bg. Are we seeing some w/ the new 5D? Been anxiously waiting.
Thank you, Rog. Yes, these were all taken with the new 5D.

Well done Lil, especially number 1, great detail and light. I have read about your cold weather, hope you don't get the worst of it there, hope you stay warm!
Why thank you, Brad! But yes, the weather is really bad right now. We had -18 in Amsterdam last night. That is minus 18 degrees Celcius. That is really cold... I am staying warm though!

Really superb lovely shots Levina, sharp and well exposed.
Thanks so much, Lester!

I like them! You did wonderfully in the given situation Levina! I coule easily struggle with the exposure. Well done!
Thank you Fee. You know, the snow helped here. Did you notice how the underside of the wings in the first shot is perfectly exposed? *I* had little to do with that. It's the light-reflecting snow. Great, innit? And it worked on all of them. Like a super beamer!

Great shots. Winter indeed. Where is home for you, Levina? Leiden has always been my favorite cities to visit in Holland.
Hi Dave. Thanks very much!
Home is Amsterdam. I live in the eastern part of the city, very close to Flevopark, the Harbours, open water etc. I don't know Leiden very well, but it has a renowned university. Almost decided to do my studies there, but in the end chose to do them right here. Thanks again, Dave.
