Nice shot but I don't understand the black bars on top and bottom... Maybe it's just me...

Been taking a break from Photography for a while now...... went for a wander down the local golf course today with the camera and my least used lens and took some random shots. Not least used cause I hate just cause I lost the passion for photography for a while.

No one playing today, Brisbane is about to flood again but found this golf ball in the bushes and setup a HDR image. Im a bit out of practise with my editing. :)

Woo! got my wigma tonight, I can tell I'm going to have a lot of fun with this lens (as soon as I stop pixel peeping to be sure it's clean on the left side), It has a lot of potential. It's technically my first new lens, all others have been second hand so I'm pretty excited.

One of my two cats loves to jump from couch to couch, and I was just thinking the other day "I bet I can catch him in the act" as I had the 70-200 mounted to the camera on the tripod across the room, then I realized, I could get below him with this ultrawide! Nothing spectacular, just fun. I had to estimate and pre-manual focus, looks like I didn't get it quite right.

I like this.

Judging by the way the lights look, Im guessing you left the aperture somewhat open for these? Also, was that waterfall light-painted by you?

edit: nevermind, just tested for myself, I must have been thinking of how long exposure light sources looked on the 17-40, not this one ;)

I was out and about yesterday with my 10-20mm I just love this lens!

I did a little HDR to this single image.

IMAGE: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7155/6800789165_51e5ffe7a6_b.jpg

Black & White is always a good thing too... This one I did in HDR too. Maybe I'll post it later. No time now. Gotta run the kid to school.
