Went last year for the first time. Several benefits. Firstly the chance to chat to lots of willing photographers just itching to offer you their opinion on anything and everything. Secondly you can talk to the suppliers. Unlike last year Canon will be present this year.A number of the retailers are also there and have show offers that were certainly better than anything you can get at other times of the year - including lenses. I also enjoyed some of the presentations/lectures, most of which are listed on the web site so you can pick your day and time to suit.
Take your camera if you want to take pics of the models, all clothed I hasten to add, but using props like motor bikes etc.
So, in my opinion certainly worth the money for a good day out, even if you do not buy anything.

Thanks for the reply. I have just bought a ticket, £8 seems like good value. I could do with some advice in regards to a choice of lens so this would be ideal.

What presentations are there?

Thanks

Just put "Focus on Imaging" into google, go to the web site and one of the tabs shows some of the presentations and the dates and times. More will appear over the next week or so
