In the A series:
A810, A1300, A2300, A2400 (with IS), A3400 (with IS & touch-screen), A4000 (with IS & x8 zoom).

Elph's:
ELPH 320 & ELPH 530 which are essentially the ELPH 300 & ELPH 520,
but with touch screen controls and built-in wi-fi connectivity.

On top of that, the 25mm wide, x20 zoom, SX260 will replace the SX230,
(there's also an SX240 to replace the SX220 with no GPS).

and the long awaited rugged D20 will replace the D10,
with a standard minimum of -10 Celsius, 10 meter dives and 1.5 meter falls,
but with a x5 zoom, a built-in GPS, and 1080p video.

My wife is going to love the touchscreen wi-fi ones.

But I just got an SX230 on super clearance since the SX260 was announced.

Copied from my blog, regarding the new rugged, waterproof PowerShot D20:

The PowerShot D20 is a fresh update, with improvements across the board, except (almost) in the ruggedness itself.

What's better in the D20, compared to the 'ancient' D10?
Well, (take a deep breath) - the lens is 28mm (was 35mm), the zoom range is x5 (was x3),
the sensor is a BSI-CMOS (was CCD), the video resolution is 1080p with optical zoom (was 640x480 with no optical zoom),
the macro range is 1 cm (was 3cm), the maximum shock resistance is 6.6' (was 4') and there's a new direct video button and a built-in GPS.

However, in terms of freeze-proof-ness and water-resistance-ness,
the D20 changes nothing - it can handle the same 33' dives and 14°f temperatures as the D10.

The D20 is slightly heavier than the D10 (228 grams compared to 212),
but is just over half as thick - making it a true compact camera,
unlike the bulgy old diver that the D10 was.

Digging the look of the 530, but what I really want is a replacement for my dearly departed SD780IS. Decent image quality, but instant on and super, super tiny.

ABR800 - Several flashes, remote triggers, stands, too many and yet not enough lenses

Virto, the ELPH 300 could be a good alternative for your SD780,
or perhaps the new ELPH 320, if you prefer a touch screen LCD.

Yeah, and all you have to do if you want to dive deeper is purchase the underwater case for this underwater camera... for the same price you paid to get the camera itself. (Ok, to be fair, the case is 20 bucks cheaper, so only $329.99 instead of $349.99 for the camera.)

Saw the A4000 IS at a JB Hi-fi store on the weekend. Like its 8x zoon and design a lot.

Canon cameras: PowerShot S95, SX20 IS, EOS 1100D (T3) & 300D.

If you liked the A4000, take a look at the ELPH 310.
Same body size (2mm thinner), 28mm lens and x8 zoom,
but Full HD video with stereo sound and optical zoom,
as well as a CMOS sensor - unlike the A4000's CCD.
