Nothing about FPS with that big sensor. Interesting, but not for me.

Canon should consider delivering a 40MP camera (100-1600 ISO) for professional studio and landscape photographers. If Canon ignores it, Nikon will certainly gain marketshare with its innovative and disruptive technology.

I like how Nikon charges an extra 300 dollars not to apply/install the low pass filter... lol

Still is appears Nikon has been listening to thier customers. Tamron has been listening and look what they are coming out with..... Could be a great move for them.

When Nikon ports this 35MP+ sensor technology to their professional camera, Canon 1DX will be selling for $1,200 with a kit lens :-)

I am sure they have a product roadmap to port a more sopisticated version of this technology to their pro body. The more important question is: What is Canon going to do about its pro-cameras with 50% less resolution? As an owner of 1Ds M3, I don't see myself lining up for 1DX, and can not see why new studio and landscape pros will buy 1Dx if Nikon offers 50% more resolution.

I think it is not about just 36MP, it is about high MP+superb AF and also video. It will be hard to beat it.
