I am new into photography,so that is the caveat.

I don't understand every time I see a picture like a #6 or #1 in the second set people seem to like them. They looked washed out for me. Please educate me, why do you like about them that I don't see. (composition wise are great).
I know it all depends on the eye of the beholder,but what am I not seeing it?

Thanks for all the compliments. When I do my next shoot I will keep in mind eye level and fill light for the face. I hope it warms up a bit so I can try using a flash during the day.

As for the washed out look.... Its just a style I like just like, some people like it some people dont
