where do you find latest updates - I can only find camera specific on the uk canon site so it is trial and error trying to find the 'latest' version - there has to be an easier way

davem01,

You need the Canon Europe site

this still makes you choose a camera rather than DPP so getting the latest version is guessing which is the latest camera. Is there not a link to let you go straight to the latest version of a particular software download - DPP in this instance

The US page you linked to is for the 5D2, which sounds like what you were running into with the Europe site -- you pick a recent camera and then choose Drivers and Software, from there select your OS and you pick from the list.

What you may not realize is that the upgrades support the whole line of Canon DSLRs, so any recent DSLR would have the same up-to-date version of the software.

I'm on the latest one, but I still don't have a clue how to use it properly!
