[RANT]

Everyone is excited to HOST
Few seem to POST
Fewer want to put Nifty into the POST

Come on people ... Hosting is a responsibility to all of those that have donated and participated in the past and hope to participate in the future.

Keeping the lens, not using it and not posting photos and not sending it on is pure selfishness. It seems that once Nifty arrives most are content to do nothing.

On a seperate note, the retired nifty was in Old Town Sacramento this morning.
As soon as I get home and upload to my computer, we'll share our adventure.

This old Nifty, is starting to focus like a drunken old sailor. Kinda got tunnel vision.

It appears that Old Town Sacramento is pretty much a tourist attraction. It looks like they close almost everything down during the week.

IMAGE: http://www.rosnovphotography.com/photos/i-5BM5jJH/0/XL/i-5BM5jJH-XL.jpg

Don't forget to check out the old paddle wheeler on the river.

Old Town Sac also appears to claim they have the last Old West Saloon.

Of course, there are trains there too.

In fact, there's a train museum there. But Nifty and I only had about 45 minutes to wander around.

Wouldn't you know it, the one store that WAS open was selling Salt Water Taffy?

Of course, to offset the taffy, you could always rent a bicycle to get around town with.

IMAGE: http://www.rosnovphotography.com/photos/i-8ZRqWgq/0/XL/i-8ZRqWgq-XL.jpg

But with streets like these, I didn't want to take a bike ride in fear of jarring a few fillings loose.

Yes Boys and Girls, that was the road. NOT the side of a building.

Gotta update PC's adventures a little later

Tonight, we're going into SF to see some Fire Dancers.
This image wasn't shot with Nifty, but just an example of mine, of what I hope to get with Nifty tonight.

I vaguely remember seeing streets like that in Edinbourgh, but they had less mortor...

thanks for hosting/posting!

There's another, but for some reason it's not uploading. I'll get it added soon.
Nifty was really a little tight for the situation, so I didn't take too many with it.

Great shots Killjoy..
I love Old Town Sacramento and the Railroad Museum,
lots of fun to be had there.

The fire shots are great.
Sorry Original_Nifty is having vision problems,
but then, so am I ;)

Peter, thanks for posting up some more shots from your time as host.
I love that vine covered building..

Peter your gallery has some really beautiful shots in it :)

Nifty will be on its way Monday.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. I've been a lot busier than I thought I was going to be.
