Thanks Chubri

great job.
you get great detail on the 50% crops.
its funny how addictive bird photography is.
its some of the most expensive and difficult photography to do.

Im so stupid for starting!:p

Well I guess if you get close enough the detail can still be there. I know what you mean, this is addictive and really expensive. I thought my car modification habit was expensive, but i was wrong.

Thanks Pork, I owe that to the sun starting to peak out. When he landed there it was blocked by clouds.

Thanks Mercer, I appreciate the comments. I am trying to get better each time, and not just take pictures for the sake of it. I am trying to look at getting solid shots.

Gorgeous raptor Brad!
I think the overcast may have done you a favor in helping expose the fine detail of the feathers on the back, and I'm lovin' that detail. Excellent job on these.
Maybe next time they'll fly more in your direction where you can get a lift off too.

thanks for the compliments. I would love to sell prints but I have no idea where to start. I am not sure there is that big of a market for pictures of red tail hawks either.lol

How about Fine Art America? Seems to have a marketplace that supports lots of different genres. It's a free account so if you sell, great! If not, you're certainly not out anything and you might attract a few fans.

Just wanted to confirm (since you used a question mark in your op) that this is indeed an immature Red Tailed Hawk. Clearly one who's still feeling some youthful bravado!
