Ant Mimic Jumping Spider

In my palm trees in my driveway I've seen a rise in Rattle ant numbers, I went out with some honey to get a few photo's and was amazed to find a male and female Ant Mimic Jumping spider. I've seen these before at the Botanic Gardens but not in my yard. First off the male with its huge jaws ...

This female had me completely fooled ... I thought it was an ant with the naked eye. It was the sole inhabitant of the leaf it was on, all the neighbouring leaves had 3 or 4 ants on them.

Ant mimics are extremely difficult to nail cleanly, especially in natural surroundings.
