I shot almost all of these with the canon 85mm 1.8. Its my new favorite lens by far. Its so freaking fast with focusing! So anyway, Taylor was an awesome model, and her boyfriend Austin had never been in front of a camera before, so I learned a little on working with unexperienced guys haha. I also would like to add, it was 28 degrees outside. Taylor was practically chuck norris to me for wearing that outfit in that weather

I like most of the compositions, but a lot of them seem out of focus. The last one in particular stands out as an amazing facial expression by her, but the OOF looses it for me.

If they are in shoot order it looks like your male model relaxed as he got more used to it. :)

I like to push buttons on thingies that take pictures. Sometimes I like to push other buttons, too.

The last one was a definite miss, I should have done it in live mode. He was definitely getting better by the end haha

I may live to be contrary but I like the last photo. The softness works for me.

I think the next-to-last is best - you got some interaction between them.

Most are out of focus, but I like them anyway. They have kind of a 60s fashion shoot feel about them.

As mentioned above, she's real camera bait. I could suffer through a bunch more of her photos.

I guess I need to work on my focusing with that lense :/ I could definitely suffer through taking more pics of her haha. Shes definitely a fantastic subject :) as for the editing, mostly was a simple curves adjust and maybe a little vignetting here and there. I added a some white gradient to a couple to get a nice soft effect.

I like the location choice and outfit selection for your subjects. You also have good variety in your shots. However, all of these are out of focus. Never waste your time editing an image if some part of it is not in focus - that's the rule I follow anyway. It's important to separate your emotional attachment from the image from the true quality. As far as focus goes, ensure you are still while shooting and take several photos of each pose to maximize your chance of getting the keeper. Hope that helps! :)
