Sandisk or Lexar. Never had a CF card fail on me, unlike SD...

Kingston, Sandisk, and Transcend. One Sandisk CF card (64MB!) failed 10 years ago, but other than that, no issues with any of them. I've been pretty happy with the Transcend SD cards for the price.

I picked up a bunch of Hama 16GB cards in Europe for about $60 each. I've taken over 20,000 photos with them and never had an issue.

I've always had good luck with Sandisk, so I stick with them. Never had an issue with a Sandisk card.
