Looks like a nice pod. I think those are pretty quality pods are they not? I guess you'll find out! Not a fan of the extendable center column. They usually add to the vibration enough as it is let alone being extendable.

Being carbon fiber will help with that though. My current benro would vibrate for 11 seconds before calming down compared to my now sold carbon fiber would dampen the vibration after 3-4 seconds.

I think it will be just fine and reviews are good.
It has a reversible/removable triple section center column...so I could go w/o need be.

Look into the Optech sling straps too, thats what I use and I can barely feel when my 60D is on my hip when it is gripped and has my 70-200 f/2.8 on it...very impressive

i looked at amazon and there's one that's wide and there's one that's not so wide. which one do you have?

i think i'm gonna order the 2 inches wide only because I'm a small guy and my neck is small. the wider must be uncomfortable for me. I will also order the optech wrist strap.

i also ordered the Meiki Grip. I voluntered to shoot the First Communion of the kids in our church and i wanna look professional so i can get more attention and probably attract customers.

thanks guyz

Hey guys here's a shot I've had for a while now, but just got the ok to use. My friend asked me to do a few shots for a new undie line she's coming out with, so I have to cut the bottom off until she's ready to launch them. I wish I had a little better lighting, but was limited to two 430EX and a super small room to work in. I played a little with her teeth and skin in LR3, but don't like that ovedone look. I don't like the shadow behind her, but other than that how does it look? Once the undie site is up and going I'll post a few more. :)

Yes, I'm in far south Arlington so I usually tell locals I'm in Mansfield.

looks good except the hard shadow. can't you bounce the flash and extend the diffuser up to illuminate some light forward?

and always make sure there's catchlight in the eyes. just my 2 cents.

Yup I have the skinnier strap, I'm a small guy too and it fits perfectly. I think you'll really like it.
