I have a Supercross shoot coming up in the next few week and I was wondering if any of you guys knew a good lens to use! Any tips to get good shots, etc thank you!

70-200 is my go to motorsport lens, occasionally with a 1.4x teleconverter


~ Canon 7d / 5D ~ Novatron strobe setup + Vagabond
~ Some L glass, some flashes, the usual

Are you going for fun or do you have a client that has specific needs? It depends a lot on what access you will have and the type of photos you need.

I shoot almost soley arenacross an supercross for the AMA and I pretty much have a 70-200 2.8L IS II on at all times.

But this is indoor stuff, by saying supercross I figured you meant actual supercross, if its an outdoor local track you dont -need- a 2.8, you can use the 70-200 f4 and get great results
