HOLY CRAP!!!! REALLY?? THERE MIGHT BE A REPLACEMENT 5D IN THE WORKS?? THIS IS AMAZING NEWS, WHY HAS NO ONE EVER POSTED ABOUT THIS INCREDIBLE DEVELOPMENT SOONER??

k, I'm good now...but seriously...I don't want to see another 5D3/5Dx thread until one of you has it in your hand and are shooting with it. kthxbie.

At least some one hasn't started the "5DX owners, lets take over the world! Post and discuss!" thread yet...

maybee next week we will see it

That's only because they don't know whether it will be called the 5Dx or the 5D3...once they figure that out, you can be sure that thread will follow about 23 nanoseconds later ;)

I just need a solid excuse not to get the D800. Hopefully Canon doesn't let us down.

A solid excuse is that you would need to change your username from EOSBoy to NoinkBoy :p

Hahaha yeah...each one hoping that their combination of characters from the top row of their keyboards will win the ultimate challenge of which of the 193 threads created will come out the winner. ;)

You could just as easily skip over the thread. I would prefer not to see obnoxious posts anymore here but that is more unlikely than not seeing another 5DIII thread.

I honestly kind of feel the same way. I have already convinced myself that my Canon gear is good, and just buy lenses. A new amazing 5D should be the icing on the cake here.

If we are going to waste thread space we might as well have a good time doing it. Haha

Canon is like my current girlfriend. Nikon just happens to be that saucy new girl whom I have my eyes on... I'll still love Canon but Nikon is lookin' real good right now.

Now, I'll just have to find a girlfriend...

Ditto. I don't think we're all asking for too much, here. Maybe we should all ask for what we don't want and maybe Canon will do another switcharoo and give us exactly what we wanted in the first place!

Hey, if Nikon wants to keep adding MP then I'll stick with Canon.

I'm never going to need 30mp. Heck, I don't need 18 on the crop I currently use.

IQ means everything, and all that other stuff is secondary (to me).

Thank you. bw!
