OK....Sold my 5D classic have not used it for a while buyer has found mould on the sensor...
Can this be cleaned or shopuld i just sell it for parts....

Ouch :/. On the actual sensor? Of all places...
I would assume, if it has been on there for awhile, it may have caused damaged to the sensor. But it wouldn't hurt trying to clean it using a wet kit and see if any damage has been done.

Must be from all this humidity Sydney has been getting?

It won't be the sensor though would it? It'll be the filter in front of the sensor. No idea what it would cost to change that filter or whether there would be more mould inside the body :(

Smythie is correct. When you clean the sensor you are actually cleaning the filter/screen in front of the sensor. This screen/filter should be relatively easy/cheap to replace. Give your Canon service center a call before doing anything drastic.

I know its bad isnt it...Give it to me straight i can handle it...

I spoke to Canon service new CMOS $2500.00 new AA filter $700.00...

Looks like its going to the spare parts page on ebay i guess...
