I have been looking through threads upon threads, asking other members questions and sometimes for pictures of their bags. I am looking for a bag that will hold my 70-200 2.8 mounted on my gripped 50d.

I want to be able to get the smallest bag I can, but it must allow for quick access. This is for carrying my camera to my daughters sporting events, so I am really looking for just what I need to fit this setup. I have a 7 MDH and a fastpack that I use when I need more than just the one lens.

Thanks for any recommendations that you have.

I like the TT digital Holster for the quick carry.

Worth a look?

Yes. The 40 will with hood reversed. The 50 with hood mounted.

I love my TT30. The 40 would be the one to get to fit with the grip. The 30 would not fit at all.

It's $75, so not cheap, but it's a great bag.

I have been looking for the same type of bag. One just to hold my 60D and 100-400. I just don't like the look of the vertical zoom bags although they may be just the ticket. I was thinking about getting a Domke F6 and removing the inserts and putting camera and lens in horizontal. Seems like that would work well. Have been looking for one used, but they don't seem to come up often.

In the interim, I have been using a bag that holds several pistols and ammo (that I take to the range) which I have on hand. I put a 1 inch layer of foam padding on the bottom and it works well. Has exterior pockets for filters, lenspen, micro cloth and a water bottle as well. The inside of the bag is lined with velcro, which is nice if you want to add dividers from your other bags. Bag is not that big. Mine is black. Amazon has them http://www.amazon.com …TF8&qid=1329837361&sr=8-8 (external link)

Oh, and there is no molle points on this bag, Amazon is wrong on that point.

I am open to any suggestions as well.

I have been looking at the digital holsters that were recommended and that may just be the answer. Thanks for the responses.

Will the 70-200 fit in the 40 with an extender on it or what I need the 50 for that? I currently have the 1.4x, but may end up with a 2x at some point.
