The only glitch was offering Lightroom 3 for $17 when people called in and talked to reps; they've since stopped offering that. All of the other 80% off offers are valid: http://success.adobe.com …education||S|b|6153760102 (external link)

I just ordered CS5 Student and Teacher edition but was told there was a problem and was told to call. Phoned and was told estimated 30-40 min wait for help.

WOW!!!!!

Just purchased CS5.5 Master Suite Collection...Regular retail price is $2599.00...

Student & Teacher price is $899.00

I Paid $179

Un-freakin-believeable!!!!!!

I probably won't use it all.... but it was a fraction of the cost of just one of the programs included...

This is what it includes;

Photoshop Extended
Illustrator
In Design
Acrobat X Pro
Flash Catalyst
Flash Professional
Flash Builder
Dreamweaver
Fireworks
Contribute
Adobe Premier Pro
After Affects
Audition

On Jan 2, 2012 I upgraded from photoshop CS4 - CS5.... paid $199 for the one upgrade... I'm going to un-register it and put it on craigslist at 40% off and see if I can find any takers!

I too got the error message..... but it says their support is closed.

If I look at my account though, the order shows as completed and pending academic proof.

Ditto. Trying to get it all squared away, but the server seems to be completely overloaded.

Yeah, probably a bad day at adobe..... I just downloaded the trial so there's no rush. I've got proof of the order now, so that should be all I need. If they cancel it due to a pricing mistake, I'll just take my $40 back and move on.

So. I ordered the extended CS5 and realized I ordered for windows and I have a mac *facepalm* .. So then I call adobe and talk to a guy at sales, and he says it can be easily squared away at customer service because I'm only buying the code, not getting shipped anything. He transfers me over only to my knowing an hour later of waiting that their office closed a minute after he transfered me... So I waited for nothing. I guess I will try tomorrow!

I sent in my homeschool credentials which they seem to do by state. We'll see if that works.

I just had this back and forth with a rep there... I bought it anyway and will roll the dice. They will have to refund if they don't honor the price I would think. It's not like they can send me a bill asking for $600 to complete my purchase...

Were you asking about Lightroom or one of the other products? I think that if what he was saying were true regarding any of the others, Adobe would have removed that from their website and deactivated the SAVE80EDU code after what I'm sure was a busy day for them.
