Badger, I actually received my serial number. Plugged it in to the trial version I had downloaded and it took it without a problem. Just waiting to make sure I only get billed the $39.80 + tax now.

Feeling like I may have gotten very lucky.

That's awesome. I did mine around 9 a.m. EST yesterday on the 22nd and am still waiting for eligibility verification. Hopefully it still comes through. I feel like you may have been early enough to slip through before they changed their minds!

EDIT: Just thought I'd check my credit card statement and I see Adobe is pending for two orders from yesterday: one for $1 and one for $42.02. Weird.

If my order is not honored I will no longer support Adobe. There is no way this was a mistake, the 80% was advertised on the website. If it was a simple "web-engineer flipped the wrong switch" how do they explain the art department making an 80% off graphic?

I ordered yesterday afternoon and sent in my verification info. Still waiting (hoping).

Did you all submit your eligibility through the "my orders" page? I can't seem to get the link to work to submit the documents...?

I've been trying to submit my eligibility verification but the page just reloads every time, never confirming anything. Not sure what's up with that.

I am trying to do that now as well. It seems to be a third party service. It took forever to load, and when it did, my city wasn't in the popup list, so that kinda put an end to that.

I did submit my verification info yesterday right when I ordered through adobe's site and received an email confirming that they received it.

Guess I just wait and see, or try phoning I guess.

I used the link in the order confirmation email to submit the enrollment verification.

We'll see if any of us end up with the discounted price. I'm confused as well as to how they can claim this as a mistake, seemed like it had too much effort put into it to be a simple mistake and I can't imagine why they let it sit there all day without taking it down. I've run into "error sales" from other online retailers before and they were removed very quickly.

You can also try edu-verify@adobe.com (external link).

I've sent mine off after to speaking to a rep who said the link may be down. he gave me that email as an alternative. He looked up my order and gave no indication that it would be cancelled or not honoured.

I submitted mine via the education support portal. I am unable to figure out how to link it without being in my account.

But do those of us who used a valid .edu email to order even need to submit additional proof? I think a lot of people are still unclear on that, and there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer out there.

According to Adobe's identit-e service, no. This is from my "Eligibility Verification" screen:

Provide a school issued email address. A school email address includes: .edu, .k12 , and other email domains sponsored by your educational institution. OR

Provide proof of your academic status via an upload, email attachment or fax your school ID or other documents. The personal information on your eligibility documents must match the personal information you will be providing later in this process.

In addition to seeing this emphasized here, I saw this same message when registering during/after checkout. They said to use your .edu address for fastest turnaround, or provide the other documents which would take an extra day or two to verify.

now that i think about it, my verification of LR3 was almost instantaneous... i think if the school is in their system, it picks it up much faster. strangely, this go-round, my school wasnt listed. i go to NYU, strange that it wouldnt be there
