Apparently in Vietnam Civets roam freely through the coffee plantations and eat the beans that have fallen. What they 'process' is then used as coffee beans.

I remember seeing something about it on the tv not sure I'd want to give it a go.

Ive just had a couple of shots printed and i have framed them for some work collegues who are leaving in the next couple of weeks. Mainly as the company has decided not too. They have both worked there for over 30 years each, and are great guys. Just a little momento.

The boats and and what ever else we can find there is a few rusty bits of machinery down there.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to go to somewhere like McDonalds if you wanted "sh1t" coffee?

As to the wire wool I ued a bit of chain this time with a ring in the end and threaded the wire wool through the ring and then through it's self.

It was excellent off road for what basically looks like some poncey "Chelsea Tractor". It has proper 4WD in 2 ratios and a 2WD drive mode for economy. We drove it into (and back out of) an hideous swamp, let the game rangers at our lodge try and break it and finally, on our way back to Joburg, I got it airborne at 80mph on a dirt track. Only a Range Rover smoothes out bumps like this car I just need to write the damn review now

Awesome, glad it arrived ok. I have only tried it using a filter method so haven't really tried it properly. It's definitely one of those coffees you have to say tried though isn't it

In Australia there's a saying if you want to go into the outback take a Range Rover if you want to come back take a Land Cruiser.

I may steal that for the article It kind of describes where this car sits in the food chain. It's not as hard-core as a Land Cruiser (although you can add some Bilstein shocks in the options ) but it is no pussy either. We really did dick with this car. When we dropped it back with the Toyota rep at the airport, his face was priceless. It was filthy, caked in mud, ****, grass and dust. He was clearly thinking "WTF did you do?". We were nicer to the cappuccino coloured one

Toyota's the only thing I'd feel safe in 'out there'. It's a dinky car but of course (being a girl) I loved the colour of the Desert Cruiser (or whatever it was called). It looked like a large latte with whipped cream on top - with groovy rear doors that open outward like a black cab.

On the tarmac it took three days to get from 0-60 and was very thirsty but struth, on the dirt it got very happy (as did Jonathan).

I've come to the conclusion that this 'interest in cars' is a male problem. One see's it develop in small boys with their wire model cars, and it never really goes away. Why should men find cars so interesting? A car is no more than a machine, like a washing machine or an iron. But men show no interest in these. You never see men standing around talking about washing machines.
