It was whale soup when we visited Lahaina, Maui. We went for the sole purpose of whale watching and photography, okay, the weathar and food was good too. :lol: We did get in 6 whale watching excursions. These three were shot from the pitching deck of a Zodiac raft and just go to show it is often better to be lucky than good.

This one almost got away.

I love diving when you can hear their calls. Totally amazing. Great shots!

Thanks for looking and the nice comments. It was really a matter of pointing the camera at the right place at the right time. The big boy was a truly awesome sight indeed.
