Matt - Going by how long it took me, you should get yours tomorrow morning. Unfortunately my last 12 hours were a business day, yours are a Friday night.

If it makes you feel better, I don't think Australian schools qualify. From Adobe's website (external link):

Thanks badger, appreciated mate. Being Australian sucks when it comes to software. Discrimination I say!

Still waiting here.

Ordered: 2/22/12 @ 1:21 PM

Support documents submitted: 2/22/12 @ 2:37 PM

I just can't believe it takes this long. I am seriously doubting buying Lightroom now.

I have a hunch they don't work weekends because I submitted everything about the same time as you.

Not to sound uncaring but they need to put extra people on to deal with this. The "marketing error" or "hacking" or whatever bull**** they are claiming is only going to buy them so much time. Time to put all hands on deck to crank these orders out if they want to keep any of their reputation.

Hey all,

I made a change to my order after I placed it to request shipping rather than download so I would have the media. As a result, Adobe cancelled my order. They told me the pricing was wrong on their site and that someone had hacked their system and loaded that code but I could place another order but at the correct price with SAVEONEDU code which makes it $699 for the Master Suite.

I spoke to three different Adobe associates (both on and off shore contact centers) and no one told me this had happened until the last associate. This took several hours of my day Friday as queues were + 30 minutes each time I called. Needless to say I was ripping had I not changed my own order I would have gotten it and they wasted half my day between sales and service before telling me about their problem. Certainly was not my fault they had wrong pricing.

So they asked me what I would like, to which I responded honor the $189 price on the order I got confirmation on on the 22nd. I have escalated this and advised them I'm certain the public would be interested in the fact someone hacked their order entry system which likely houses sensitive customer information. I was told I would get a response by Tuesday on how they wish to handle this.

I'm telling everyone this for two reasons. 1.) apparently the prices were not valid due to hacking. 2.) I would like to know if anyone got the pricing so I can state others have received the pricing and the fair thing to do would be honor it. Feel free to post here of PM me if you were fortunate enough to get the great pricing.

I certainly agree. I'm really tired of having a $60 pending charge on my debit card. I don't know if I'm going to have that money in a few days or not...

That's not a serious attempt at customer service, is it?

EDIT:

But this sure implies that the prices were legit.

And this confirms it. The two screenshots I posted are both from their Twitter feed that was posted a few minutes ago.

There's no way this was a hack, and if it was, they wouldn't honor any of the sales because legally they wouldn't be required to. It's just lame that they pulled the plug that day instead of letting it run till the beginning of March. Oh well, no $40 CS5 Extended for me..
