use my 35 on the 5d 95% of the time and the 100 on the crop most of time.....135 comes tomorrow and thinking about ditching the 17-40 and 24.105 to fund a 24L....do I dare dump the 70-200....i am starting to think I'm a primeholic....can I be saved.

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

I wouldn't get rid of the 70-200 II, no way. The others... yes, get rid of and acquire 24L II. ;)

Don't you dare get rid of that 70-200II....

I find the 35L to be my favorite focal length matched with f1.4 . They were just meant to be.

My first substantial piece of glass came in yesterday, the 85mm f/1.8. That is one sexy lens! lol I can tell already it's going to be a favorite! I can't wait until my next day off work to have some fun with it!

While I did let go of my 70-200 f/2.8L in favor of my 135L I am inclined to recommend that you hang on to the IS II that you own. It's quite possibly the finest telephoto zoom lens that Canon has created to-date and if you don't mind the weight of it, I'm sure you're well aware of its qualities.

That being said, there are occasional times I miss the flexibility of my tried and true 24-70/70-200 combo, but I sure don't miss their size and weight!

Currently own three lenses and one camera body:

Walimex 35mm f1.4 (Same as the Samyang - anybody know where in Europe I can get a AF-confirm chip for EOS?)

Canon 50mm f1.8 II (Getting the Sigma 50 1.4 next when I got some money again...)

And my absolute favorite: Canon 85 f1.2L (Although it's "only" the Mark I version, I absolutely love this lens)

^ It's up on 1x.com also ;-)a ^

5D2 ~ 35 1.4 (Walimex) ~ 50 f1.8 II ~ 85 1.2L (Mark I)

Considering going primal. I have the 2470 and just can't lug it everywhere, too heavy. Considering 35 f2 and keep the 24-70 or 35L + Tamron 28-75. I just can't stand the size anymore, but still love the flexibility of a zoom. I do use the 50 1.4 a lot too. Was considering the upcoming Tamron VC because IS is gamechanging to me... decisions...
