Yep thanks to everyone here with advice and just the pure joy of looking at everyones photo's. This has pushed me to want to learn more and take better photo's. So thanks to everyone I have upgraded to;

Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 OS
Sigma 17-50 f/2.8 OS
Canon battery grip BG-E9

I will be selling my Tamron 70-300 f/4-5.6 (that is pretty much still new)

Beautiful lens and great choices. I know what you mean by hanging out here to much and seeing all the awesome shots by the other forum members. I bought a 135L and Sigma 50 f/1.4 recently and am also looking at the Sigma 17-50 as well.
I sure feel as though I'm doing my part to spur on the economy.;)

I don't no maybe the grip will help improve.... With the 70-200 mounted on it feels more balanced with the grip than without. So yea I think I can get a more steady shot off? Anyway I like all my new toys so far.

It may not improve your shot but sure will make you look more like a pro!!

Camera will balance better with the 70-200. ;)

Dont know about the output quality of those, but they look sweet
