Sounds like they read Canon Rumors.

You're false, they work in Canon Belgium

So this is an official Canon announcement and they decided to give the honors to them?

Mannnn...i see a lot of ppl are loading off their 5D2 in the Sell forum for the past couple of days. And their asking prices are very attractive too. It looks like ppl are getting ready to set aside some funds for 5d3, huh? :D

and in the forum : 3 FF bodies announcement in 2012...

Which re-iterates the 1D-X / 5DIII / 5D-X rumours from about a month ago.
This site may have new information, or it might be the same old rumours being circulated to a new web site. From my reading, it looks like the latter unfortunatly. There's no new information here

Very best regards

That would be *awful* if they were 3 separate announcements. Because, I'd probably want to hear all of them before I pounce...

Would it be so hard for Canon to ever show us the "roadmap"? I don't need specs. I just want to know (from a semi-pro and above perspective), we have a high megapixel track, a high fps/af track, a high iso track, etc. It's really muddled right now.

If you own a company in a competitive market would you give out your internal product plan ?. Think about it for a second.

The companies driving the mirror-less market seem to do it but usually give you very little detail about the product.

Both the 70D and 650D are due out this year according to the release dates of previous cameras in the series. The 60D was 1 year late compared to the other XXD's, the 70D is now the same, 1 year late, the XXXD has been updated every year in Q1 or Q2 since the 400D, I don't see any reason for canon not to keep that going, there are hundreds of thousands if not millions of average joes out there who like having the newest toy.

I guess we will know in two days :)

Apple, who grew in value by 175 billion last year (to a total worth of 500 billion) never gives any information about any upcoming product.

The guy in the french forum claimed that Canon is reacting a lot to their competitors. So the roadmap is always moving.
For instance, the mirrorless compact is in the box for years but not announced by Canon (trying to improve it ?)

Whatever, a 3 FF line-up (semi pro) will kill EF-S in my opinion if it looks like these :
-cheap FF
-5D3
-5Dx

But, with Apple, you know they make an iPod, iPad, iPhone, MacBooks, etc. When they get revved and with what improvements, that's the fun surprises.

If I'm loyal to Ford and I like sports cars, I'll wait to see what the new Mustang has.. There's a path there..

With Canon and Nikon, they release successor products that have a different target audience than the predecessor (reference D700->D800).
