Thanks guys.

OldSchool, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw your shot, I'd be drooling to shoot that night! LOL

I hope to do just that, but it is literally right next to someone's house. I will be asking permission to spend an hour or so near it after dark...once I get up the nerve to go knock on their door to ask them that is. LOL!

Here's a couple from the back yard of a property where I built a solarium a couple years ago.

My best guess after a little google-ing is that this is a 1939 Bentley Mark V I found in its final resting place next to a barn. I'm still cheating and using presets in LR3 (haven't learned how to use everything in there yet), so don't knock the PP lol

No doubt! The Bentley symbol looks brand new...and that's really all that matters anyway right? LOL

throw a minor coat (nothing concours) of paint on that and fix the mechanicals and you got a runner

Bring your GPS and drop down points as you go by them. Then you can find them later in your car no problem...unless that would be against the rules too

they are in the areas where i wouldn't want to go alone, like salvage yards, in lousiana theres a lot of places (especially by the tracks) where you can see thousands and thousands of abandoned cars/scrapped cars and trucks lying around, but theres a few canidates that look restorable.... part of new orleans where you wouldn't want to go alone. I guess left in groups after katrina, you can go to google earth and see the aerials.... pretty sad, even though most of the cars are new but theres a few nicer ones in there I believe.

I noticed the door handles are in different locations on the one in my photos, and the pics online for the 39 mark v's...searched a bit more and I'm almost positive it is a 1946 Bentley Mark VI Sedan. Still cool though :)
