I'd still buy a 1ds2 over this camera for less money.

Not happy with your 5D2?

If you are so worried about sharpness and AA filters, why aren't you shooting MF?

Cost obviously, but no need now with a D800e...

The focus points seem too close to center. Wish they were spread out a bit more. At least thats how it looks on AMAZON's page. (external link)

Nice image, however the IQ (softness) make her look like a wax model...

they missed the focus on that shot. The folds in the shirt at chest level are sharper than the eyes.

Isn't this camera pretty much what everyone has been asking for? A FF 7D?

I was really wishing for the jump that we saw between the 5D Mark I to the 5D Mark II. What really stings for me is the lack of a 4:2:2 CODEC for video, something akin to the one used in their their XF100 / 300 series camcorders.

No it just appears like that as the shirt is high contrast.
Even the shirt looks soft to me though...

That would bite into sales of the XF100 / 300's - obviously Canon wouldn't want that now would they ;)

This thing is just junk. I'm switching to (brand du jour).

I think the video thing is cool, but I'm still not so sold on needing all the bells and whistles of a video camera in my still camera. Call me late adopter

Doesn't hurt you. Just ignore it.

Kinda like drink holders in my car. They're there, but I never use em. I have a phobia involving hot coffee and the crotchular region of my pants.
