Hi jpappilli! Thanks for sharing one of your pics. I like the elements in the pic. The ship and water with the flag.

My critique is really simply my opinion on this and I believe in being honest and straight forward. I think this pic is good but not great. My initial impression was does the flag fit - then I thought it does - then went back and forth. I think the flag may fit more for me if you crop a bit off the left side of this pic. so there is less space between the ship and the end - then the flag is more of an element with the ship.

Let me know what you think of my two cents. Thanks for sharing!

Scott

Yes great picture of moon/mountain 2 exposures to get mountain so bright?

Here's one I'll share from Oregon coast. I think I want to make a large print of it and curious what you think about it and how to do better next time....be brutal!

A shot from last summer that I finally had time to run through Lightroom. It's from up on a mountain top in Yosemite, taken while I was waiting for the sun to set.

Hi Gang - sorry I have been out of touch lately. I have been super busy with no free time to jump in. I will dive back in when I have a few minutes to review the pics posted. Thanks all!

Greetings Peeps!

I have not been in the forum in a while. Currently doing a little traveling but I have limited availability but more than willing to give a little midweek critique. I have many years of experience shooting professionally (from weddings, corporate, sports, news and other unexciting things)

So if you want to post a pic for critique. I will give you my quick and dirty lowdown. The requirement is that you have thick skin, I just don't have enough time for anything but the bottom line.

Well....I am ready if you are. :)
