I wonder if dpreview and other credible reviewers will get their 5DII's before the end of March? Perhaps some of them already has it and we'll be able to see reviews sooner than later. That would be very nice.

dpreview definitely has a camera. They posted a set of RAW images for a quick test.

The obvious message is that they are currently working on the full test, but this takes some time to complete.

Anybody remember when Canon didn't give them a pre-production 1D Mark III and Phil threw a hairy fit? There still is no 1D Mark III full review there as they refused to ever do one after Canon 'disrespected' them. :D

Then what is it about? Cus it just comes off as trolling tbh. Ive shot both systems, and for the most part theres not much difference til you get to high iso, or if you push you image really far and need dynamic range.

It's about the truth, I said the 7D lacks IQ and resolution compared to other crops with either a weak or no AA filter. And somehow you thought I was talking crap and to prove it you posted a low res pic...

Seriously...

I actually think the ergonomics of this thing are gonna be a huge advantage, the grip for the 5dii is pretty rubbish imho, its not comfortable!

Its about truth? Okay... and where does that lead us? Are you trying to get us to sell our 7D's? Are you trying to convince us to switch? Or is there no point to your ranting lol.

No, the sample images from a lot of previous Canon's sucked too. I looked at the dpreview RAW image test (which is not a great test setup for some things) and I don't see anything there that made me think your assertion is correct.

I'm hardly a 'fanboy' which is simply a useless term tossed out by people who don't know how to conduct a conversation. I was actually very unhappy with the spec sheet of the 5D2, a fact that I've complained about numerous times. I felt the D700 upstaged the 5D2 for still photographers as it had a better feature set.

Now I think the 5D3 is the one that is better than the D800. I personally see the D800 as a step in the wrong direction for Nikon because it does not improve on the few things that the D700 needed fixed.

The 5D3 actually addresses (on the spec sheet) every complaint I had about the 5D2.

Huh? 12mp.. Helloooo?
I don't see what else needed fixing, but tbh the D700 is pretty irrelevant unless you want to compare it to the 5Diii.

Maybe if you had the smarts, you would realise I'm trying to inform the 'uninformed' that strong AA filters are not good for still photography.

Words fail me as to why you are unable to comprehend that...

right, the Nikonians are now waiting and hoping for the D900 to fix things

Nex 7
Nex 5

All outperform the 7D in terms of IQ.
