I don't know how true it is,but I heard from one of them that Flickr picks the top 500 "most interesting" at the time of the pick. So,if one of your images is in the top 500 on Flickr at the time of the pick,then I guess it has a chance of getting explored. Im working on a shot of mine to get it explored. I figure just keep your best shot/s on your 1st page. Add it to tons and tons of groups. Comment on other people's shots and you're pretty much guaranteed a comment on one of your top photos on your 1st page. Comments and views are what makes the photo interest level goes up.
