hi have had my 60d for about a month now and wondering if anyone can help me can you change the iso settings in landscape mode for night shooting have changed it in auto but when i go to landscape the iso is still very high i use landscape mode for nights as well still takes a good shot but iso is to high

Time to get away from the auto parts of the dial and into the manual modes. That is the only way to reliably get the type of shot you are going for.

Lol arch. I almost took a wrought iron fence shot, today. After I scratched my front element taking a shot of a church building behind one, I was kind of sour on the idea.

It's a sad day when your cell phone camera can take a better picture than a p&s.

I went to the aquarium today. It was definitely a nice little adventure.

That is the reason why I have a good UV filter on all my lenses.

Have had this lens, for 8 months. First reason I don't use UV/Protective filters is that this could have been a lot worse, if one were attached. The glass, from the UV filter, would have most likely scratched the CRAP out of my front element when it broke.

I can really only see a UV filter being protection from wet spray, honestly. In the end, to each his own.

Ohh, that does look nasty, sorry to hear that! Does that scratch affect the pictures? I can't really tell from the picture, but I've seen people sell lenses with scratches that say that it doesn't affect the pictures, etc.

Now, if they bring the 7D focusing down to the XXD and upgrade the 7D with something like that 61 point, then we we have a much more interesting situation.

Agree. btw the digic 5 will help with a little faster FPS.

hope they'll also add a dedicated AF processor.
