First two aren't bad. 3rd one looks like she's squinting against the sun.

They look overexposed, and the shadows are harsh because of the over head light. The highlights seem to be blown out.

Also; in the first one, because of her pose, her pants look too tight and her stomach is...bulging over the waistband.

so, if i've understood a little of what i have researched(or been researching for a while) because i want to transition into portraits with my hobby using natural light, the op could have used a scrim overhead to minimize the harsh lighting and also used a second reflector to add some fill(if desired), does this sound about right? This is only my opinion and no disrespect to the OP  just trying to learn and understand how things work!

enjoy

Dot, the shots also look very flat to me.

Keep shooting and post more up!

The best pic is of the model with the blue Cobra. This is the only pic where she doesn't have an unpleasant expression. Beautiful model, but pics one and three do not look good in the tummy area.

focus~ andriukus~ i agree. when i have more time i try and find some with better facial expressions.

rexbobcat~ overexposed` maybe a tad. i look to tweak some in LR.

meeko031~ i would look to have a third person with me with a reflector and deffuisor, but alas i was just me and the model. but i do think i will need to invest in some more equipment and have a helper during these bright sunny shoots.

sorry about the third pic. was updating my photobucket album and.......dat one had to go till i worked on it.

I think for Model with Car shots the backgrounds are way too cluttered on top of what has been said before. I understand car shows aren't easy to shoot clear backgrounds at but I think it just means that the tog has to try for interesting angles to leave out bald guys and pot bellies! the first shot with the cobra and the first lambo shot work but the background in the others is just distracting.
