This technique is so quick and easy, and a lot of fun.

Here's one from this weekend's Clipsal 500 car race in Adelaide.

Well, for one thing, the entire Eiffel Tower should be in focus since it stands in the center of your intended focal plane.

You need a mask where you can erase the tower area to let it show through as part of the sharp area.

Hi, I meant that blur is different from that seen on 1st and 2nd pictures. Sometime ago ir towrked as should be, but now it won't works. Just tried to reinstall PS few times. No luck ...

My first try as well. I think I more downward angle will improve the effect.

It could work with this image, I think you need to really sharpen up the air-conditioning (?) units on top of the building and it could be ok.
