Ok I was asked to take a shot for a Real Estate add in a magazine. I would like to hear from you all. This is the shot out of the camera I will post a shot later of the magazine. Please tell me what you think.

Same thoughts as nes_matt. The image says nothing about real estate to me.

Seconded - says as much about real estate as it does sports cars.

I would try to have him squint less if possible - eyes say a lot about a person and in real estate that can make a difference!

I guess there must be money in the selling of National Park lands.... or at least, three squares and a cot.

I'm worried about his missing hand. I don't get the real estate part either.

This is a realtor that specializes in sedona property. Here is a magazine that he is going to be in. He wanted something like the photo on the right side of this link on page 20.http://sedonamagazine.digi-page.net//?id=sedonamagazineSpr10 (external link)

The one on page 20 works as it shows a pool which one would associate with a house.
Yours gives more of a " Tourist businessman on vacation "

Might want to move him out of the center of the frame as well as having both hands in view.

Perhaps have him on the left , arms crossed looking to the right slightly.

I think his face is too red and he looks too cut out. Meaning the lines are too hard especially around the shirt area. It's like the WB doesn't match between subject and B/G.

for goodness sake iron the clothing .

i would have a light on both sides of him , and possibly make the backround slightly darker

also in the magazine . she is standing near the pool on the porch or what ever of an actual home . not just out in the open ,
