Quick question about TTL and speedlights with PC sync cord

If I've got one flash on my hotshoe in TTL mode, and another flash attached to the camera via a PC sync cable also in TTL mode, does their output both automatically compensate for exposure, or does the one connected via PC cable have to set manually?

PC cord is manual.

There is no eTTL with a standard sync cord. You need all the connections of an eTTL cord for that to work.
