Hey, new Sigma 30 owner here with a quick question... I noticed that mount is very tight (well, compared to my other lenses) when putting the lens on my camera (that is, I had to use some effort to click it in to place). Once it was on, it seems to work fine. I'm just curious if it's typical to have a tight mount like that? I'm probably just being overly paranoid.

I remember mine to be pretty tight sometimes on my t2i (I had two.) but on the 7D it was a lot smoother. just a little bit tighter than other lenses

Mine is pretty tight too. It shouldn't be a problem. Mine is tight and I've been using it for over a year without problems.

Cool - I figured it was probably no big deal.

Will this lens fit a Canon 10D (EF mount w/ crop sensor)?

Mine is tight too - also my Sigma 17-50 is tight. But no issues with it.
